Shore Swim is Cape May County’s oldest mobile swim school. A California Shoobie married a Jersey Shore local and we started ‘Shoobies Swim in 2018. Coach Celeste brought her lifelong water & coaching experience to the 609!
We expanded & became Shore Swim School in 2024! Since then we’ve been teaching “shoobies”, seasonal residents, & Jersey Cape locals of all ages to love the water. Shore Swim School brings private swim lessons to your home pool or vacation rental anywhere in Cape May County, NJ.

About Shore Swim School
Shore Swim School is Cape May County’s oldest mobile swim school. We bring private, one-on-one lessons to your pool. Your backyard, your vacation rental, grandma’s place in Avalon. No group classes, no crowded facilities, no rigid schedules. Just your swimmer and a coach who knows them by name.
Our team is made up of local teachers, lifeguards, and college swimmers with real experience in the water. We use play-based, developmentally appropriate instruction that builds water safety skills and real confidence.
We’ll send you home with simple songs and games to practice between lessons, and we adapt every session to your child’s personality, pace, and comfort level.

Baby Swim (20 min)
Ages 4–24 months.
Gentle, play-based sessions building the foundation for safe, confident swimming.

Toddler Swim (30 min)
Ages 1–3.
Fun, play-based lessons developing water safety skills at your child’s pace.

Ages 4+.
Swim-float-swim lessons building real water safety for deep water and ocean conditions.

Siblings, cousins, or friends learning together.

Bookings open May1. We’re scheduling with families who have their own pool in Cape May County and those willing to travel to host pools.
