Ocean Safety and Beach Readiness
Avalon families spend their summers in the surf. Our ocean safety program teaches kids to read waves, understand rip currents, enter and exit the water safely, and stay calm in open water. This is a skill set every shore kid needs!
Where We Teach in Avalon
We teach at private pools all over Avalon, from the bayside homes near 9th Street to the oceanfront rentals on the south end of the island. If you have access to a pool (your own, your rental's, or a neighbor's with permission), we can teach there.
